Does it work in Chrome, Slack, Notion and Mail?
Yes. On Mac, InkHammy uses macOS Accessibility to see the text near your cursor, so it works in the apps you already use: Chrome, Safari, Slack, Notion, Mail, Messages and more. You allow it once in System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility.
Why does the iPhone keyboard ask for Full Access?
iOS only lets a keyboard reach the internet when you turn on Allow Full Access. Hammy needs it (plus an active subscription) to send the text near your cursor for AI corrections. Without it, the keyboard still types and uses on-device spelling. Password and other secure fields never reach third-party keyboards.
How much does it cost?
Hammy Pro is $9.99 a week or $99.99 a year (that's $1.92 a week). On iPhone you subscribe through the App Store. On Mac you check out securely on the web with Stripe. Sign in with the same account and Pro works on both.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. On iPhone, open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → InkHammy. On Mac, choose Manage subscription in the app to open the Stripe customer portal. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app doesn't cancel a subscription.
How do I sign in?
With Apple or Google. Use the same account on your iPhone and your Mac and your subscription follows you.
Which languages does Hammy speak?
Hammy is tuned for English, so that's where his corrections shine. The Translate action can also rewrite your text into other languages, like French, Spanish, German or Japanese.
What happens to my text?
The text near your cursor goes to InkHammy's correction service and to our AI provider, Cerebras, to create suggestions. The correction service doesn't store it. The apps also send diagnostics (like crash reports, errors and the text involved in a correction) to our own GlitchTip server, kept for up to 90 days. Passwords and secure fields are never collected. We don't show ads, use tracking SDKs or sell your data. Read the privacy policy.
What do I need?
An iPhone on iOS 17 or later, or a Mac on macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Hammy needs an internet connection for AI fixes.
