Set up the iPhone keyboard
The easiest way: open the InkHammy app and follow the in-app guide. Or do it by hand:
- Open Settings → General → Keyboard → Keyboards.
- Tap Add New Keyboard… and choose InkHammy.
- Tap InkHammy in the list and turn on Allow Full Access. Hammy needs it for AI fixes, rewrites and translation.
- While typing in any app, press and hold the globe key to switch to InkHammy.
Without Full Access, the keyboard still types and checks spelling on your device. AI features need Full Access, an InkHammy account and an active subscription. Password and other secure fields always switch to Apple's keyboard.
Fix a long text in the app
- Open InkHammy and paste your text.
- Tap to fix it and let Hammy go typo hunting.
- Copy the flawless version and send it.
Set up InkHammy on Mac
- Download InkHammy for Mac (macOS 14 or later), unzip it and move InkHammy to your Applications folder.
- Open InkHammy. Hammy moves into your menu bar.
- Allow Accessibility when asked, or open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility and turn on InkHammy.
- Sign in and start typing in any app. Hammy's little icon appears next to your cursor.
Hammy not showing up? Check that InkHammy is still turned on under Accessibility, then quit and reopen the app. After an update, macOS sometimes needs the switch turned off and on again.
Account and billing
Sign in
Sign in with Apple or Google. Use the same account on your iPhone and your Mac and your subscription works on both. If your session expires, just sign in again.
Restore purchases
- iPhone: open the Subscription screen in the app and tap Restore Apple purchases.
- Mac: sign in with the account you used at checkout. Your subscription is restored automatically.
Cancel your subscription
- iPhone (App Store): open Settings → your name → Subscriptions → InkHammy and tap Cancel Subscription.
- Mac (Stripe): in the InkHammy app, choose Manage subscription. Stripe's customer portal opens, where you can cancel or update your payment method.
You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel a subscription.
Delete your account
Open the Subscription screen in the app and choose Delete account. See the Privacy Policy for what's removed.
